Where to start
Depending on what you are looking for, there are two main entry points:
-
Public XBRL filing portals worldwide
If you want to know where to download public XBRL/iXBRL reports (for example US-GAAP, ESEF/IFRS or other frameworks), start with the category
“Public XBRL filing portals worldwide” (xbrl-filings).
There you will find hub topics such as:- US-GAAP / SEC EDGAR iXBRL filings
- ESEF / IFRS iXBRL filings (Europe)
and, over time, further hubs for other XBRL implementations.
-
anuboXBRL Reader
If you are using the anuboXBRL Reader add-in for Excel, start with the anuboXBRL Reader category.
The Reader category contains hub topics for:- installation and sign-in,
- where to get filings for use with Reader,
- opening XBRL/iXBRL reports in Reader,
- and using loaded XBRL data in Excel (insert values, sections and tables).
-
anuboXBRL Analyzer
If you have a valid license for any edition of anuboXBRL Analyzer, you will see one or more Analyzer categories that are only visible to licensed users. Use these private areas for product-specific questions, workflows, and discussions related to your Analyzer edition (for example, model-driven analysis, templates, or cell-to-XBRL bindings).
Category: Public XBRL filing portals worldwide
The Public XBRL filing portals worldwide category complements the XBRL Filings page on anubo.com, which lists important national and international filing portals where structured financial data can be obtained.
Use this category to:
- share your experience with specific portals (access conditions, search options, download formats, quirks),
- ask where to find specific XBRL or iXBRL reports,
- post tips for getting clean ZIP files and reliable data for use in anuboXBRL Reader and Analyzer,
- highlight changes to portals (URLs, access conditions, formats) that may affect other users.
For step-by-step guidance on selected portals (currently ESEF and US-GAAP, expanding over time), see the anuboXBRL User Guide, which is continuously updated as we test more filing systems.
anubo will review and test relevant hints from this category and, where appropriate, update the User Guide and other learning materials. We may also adapt our software to better support widely used portals where this is feasible – without any guarantee, but with a genuine intent to improve the product based on real-world usage.
